Philosophy of Education

The process of learning is never-ending; it begins at birth and continues until death. For those who choose to facilitate the education process, the teacher, librarian, or administrator, there is no greater assignment or responsibility. Those who chose to teach choose to inspire, to encourage, to nurture, and to model for those under their instruction.  During the teaching process the teacher encourages and nurtures individual strengths and talents as well as arousing and stimulating natural curiosity and interest. One who teaches will encourage those under instruction to consider all possibilities and ask questions that are unanswerable.   The ultimate goal of a teacher is to ignite the fire of learning, questioning, and creativity within each student to enable the student to become self-sufficient and an independent thinker.
